I don't know if anyone remembers anything at all anymore. Culturally, we seem to be a menagerie of sub genres and ethereal counterpoints strictly for the sake of expressing "individuality". We geek over re-runs of thunder cats and reward retroisms because it seems new. Enthralled by stamped out plastic
pop culture, we cling to nostalgia like a drowning man clings to his last breath.
Our goal here is not to celebrate the accomplishments of the past. That is both covered extensively on other blogs and unnecessary here. The reason why it is mentioned is that we circuit bend effects pedals, toys, instruments and miscellaneous hardware. We will form a comprehensive documentation of each new hack, with the intent to produce a more analytical study of bending, for the sake of our readers as well as for ourselves. The greatest part about creating experimental music is stumbling onto something fantastic without realizing how you got there. There are certain methods of bending that are highly intuitive and rewarding. We hope to address more aspects of bending and recycling on both a creative level and an ethical level. Lets push boundaries dudes and ladies!
